Chapter 4: Illustrating The Usage Process

License Manager can manage licenses of PAD products .For the use process is consistent, we just take Pattern Design as an example.
For example, input the Pattern Design license XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX to License Manager.
How to do：
- Open License Manager, input the registration information including user name, password and serial number: > Open the menu [License] or click the icon LM_002, input license number XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, then click OK button:
license022 2. Open [Options] menu, select “Connection Setting…”, view and copy the IP address:
license020 3. Open Pattern Design, input the copied IP address in the page of “Sever IP” in the Local dialog:

NOTE

- Ensure that the computer with License Manager has open the port 9128 to connect PAD server;
- Keep opening License Manager when you are using the software; > license023
- If more than one pattern design software is entered into License Manager, and when you use Pattern Design and other products, License Manager will find the idle license for you. That’s to say, the license will not be fixed.
