New Features

- Storage Engine. User may setup his/her own storage engine to store his/her works. Currently we only support SFTP server.More...

Pattern Bugs Fix

1. Fixed an issue where Item Info did not display Center, Frame, or Segment. 2. Resolved a problem where the Segment Length tool sometimes failed to work. 3. Fixed a crash when using the parallel line tool on a mirrored pattern piece. 4. Resolved a crash that happened when adding a parallel line and selecting 'Permanent'. 5. Resolved a crash that occurred in the Backspace key to delete the Image with a special polygon around the pattern.

Marker Bugs Fix

1. Fixed an issue where the “Links“ function dialogue box displayed incorrect information. 2. Resolved a crash that occurred when changing marker preferences in the app.

Digitizer Bug Fix

1. Fixed an issue where the digitizer program could not change colour when selecting the contour pattern line. 2. Fixed an issue where the Pad image size was incorrect.

In this version, we seperate the Padsystem Web login from the Padsystem Workstation login.

Old: Can use Padsystem without Internet. Padsystem only need Internet access upon open and/or saving a file. But the disadvantage are

1.Can only concurrently work on 3 files.

2.Files will be locked if the user does not properly logout from Padsystem, example when putting the computer in hibernation mode.

New: We resolve the problem by checking with the server if Padsystem is online. If Padsystem could not talk to the server withing 15 minutes, we will consider the user is gone and the license can be released to another user. The advantage of this mechanisum are

1.There will be no limit on the number of files a user can work on at one time. File will be automatically release when the user is marked inactived.

2.File openning will be faster.

3.Resolve the problem in synchronise login of the Padsystem web with the Padsystem client program.

Bugs fixed

1.Fixed it that when press “Alt” button ,sometimes not function for Create Curve Tool.

2.Fixed it that when Pad export A.I file for Illustrator open ,but font cannot recognize.

3.Fixed it that when use the function copy and paste pieces at hidden seam allowance (work on sewing line) stage, the seam allowance will show up automatically.

4.Fixed it that clone view function in piece list table cannot work.

5.Fixed it that when input value in Grading Arrows Widget without selected elements, Pad App crash.

6.On Mac, when the user select the notches or puches from the menu bar, the menu bar will be disappeared. Fixed.

Padsystem Enhancements

1.Add “Default” color to Fabric.

2.Press Backspace key do not allow delete the whole piece

3.update translations.

4.Add caching to improve file open speed.

Platform Enhancements

1.Add announcement function. It shows a bell icon on the right sidebar.

2.Add a sort function, if works are viewed by list, an arrow icon for sorting will show beside the add file icon.

The Padsystem Cloud is completely revamped.

- Newly enhanced UI with recent works and locked works.
- Allow to create sub-folders and sub-sub-folders in each store, similar to the Windows Explorer.
- Deleted work will put into a Trash and user can restore deleted work from trash.
- Copy work function added.
- Search function added.
- Users can now use the camera to input existing pattern pieces
- Users Can Bulk upload files.
- Users can select to use licenses in which share to edit a work.

Padsystem V8.0 Work Station

- Use Tabbed Document Interface simplar to commonly known product such as Chrome, VS Code, and etc.
- Combine Pattern and Marker into one program such that users can open different type of works at the same time.
- You can open and edit multiple work concurrently with one program. In other word, the restriction to use one

license per work is lifted.

- Use camera to input a pattern piece.
- Code Library is now stored in each Share, such as but not limited to size, fabric, punch hole ,notch , piece name, center segment frame name. Thus able to be shared by all users in the Share.
- Improve saving speed and reliability.

Pattern

- Graded segment length can adjust all size lengths at the same dialogue box
- Enhanced the Characteristic box can show the Segment info and Point info. with difference tab.
- Each saved pattern will create a backup, users can now compare the changes between versions.

Marker

- Enhanced that the marker use link info function to link file with pattern file that caused the marker to take time to load on cloud issue
