> Allows users to add points on selected segments that are aligned from a projection guideline.

===== Add points =====

>   - Select the segment(s) where points are required;
>   - Select {{en:resources:pattern_tools_reference:tool_image92.png|tool_image92}} tool;
>   - Click the desired location of the first reference point, then click the location of the second reference point without releasing the mouse button, a guideline appears;

===== Enter value to add points =====

>   - Select the segment(s) where points are desired;
>   - Select {{en:resources:pattern_tools_reference:tool_image92.png|tool_image92}} tool;
>   - Hold down **Alt** (Windows) or **Option** (Macintosh) or **Alt+Windows** (Linux) key, click the desired location of the reference point to open the dialog box;
